lmp3 was created on morning (production started around 1am, ended about an our after breakfast) because I (Loco3KGT) wasn't aware that you could add directories to playlists in XMMS. And because I kept my mp3s in nice little directory structures, I figured it'd be nice to have a program that would walk a directory structure and seekout mp3s. So, lmp3 was spawned. Recent development has been done by Maldon because after I asked him to fix a bug, he rewrote the entire code in C++ and added in the features I had yet to get to.
